Saponin Research Center (SRC) is a company established during 2013. It is dedicated to the development of applied research based on saponins from different vegetal sources.

Our main objective is to find solutions through the development of R&D activities to obtain natural products which solve diverse current problems in an ecofriendly way.

Through diverse projects, our current main areas of work have been:

• Evaluation and tracking content of saponins in Quillaja saponaria plantations.
• Control of Pomacea canaliculata in rice fields.
• Diagnosis, prevention and control of rotavirus in pigs farms in Chile.
• Activities related to evaluation of natural products on the prevention and control of major salmon diseases.

Program that allowed including Mario Castillo and Hernán Cañón to the team. Specifically, this project has worked with the diseases of the salmon in Chile. July 2013 to June 2016
Corporación de Fomento de la Producción (CORFO) Go to Market. Development of business strategies to enter the US market of natural product without a prescription to prevent common cold and influenza in humans. August 2013 to January 2014
